Lacra: Romance & Questline Guide
The only supernatural romance option — a vrakhir who insists her vengeance aligns with Coen's mission. Lacra is hidden: the game never points at her until you earn the knowledge. Her completed questline is also the gate to Ending 6: The Patricide.
How to find Lacra (easy to miss)
- Progress the main story until you can take on Ambrus, the Right Fist of the Knyaz.
- Defeat Ambrus and loot the note on his corpse — it reveals Lacra's connection to him and starts A Friend Like This.
- During that quest you will fight her. The duel stops automatically once her health is depleted — after which she is willing to talk. Tell her you need help against Brencis.
Her questline, in order
- A Friend Like This
- Song of the Mountain
- Hive and Seek
- Our Rotten Roots
- The Night of Horrors (optional)
- Midnight Reckoning
The Night of Horrors is optional but required for the fullest version of her story — don't skip it if you're pursuing her.
The choices that advance the romance
After Our Rotten Roots
- Once Isbrant falls, make it clear you want to keep helping her.
- Alone in the cave with her: don't leave immediately— keep talking to learn her real plans.
During The Night of Horrors
- Tell her you think the parlay with Brencis is a trap, then ask what she wanted to discuss — this reveals the Mandrake that can protect you both.
- When you find the Mandrake, accept it and share it with her to unlock her additional scenes.
- When Lacra offers her blood, drink it; when she lets you feed from her neck, take the moment.
- When she asks what would feel better than ever right now, choose to kiss her — this leads to the romance scene.
Lacra and the endings
Finish her questline through Midnight Reckoning within the 30 days (alongside the main objective) and Lacra will fight beside you against her sire: The Patricide. Her route also quietly gates Bakir content — the hidden quest A Mother's Plea only appears after progressing her line, so Lacra-first is the efficient order for completionists.
Corruption note: Drinking her blood is a story beat, not a trap — but habitual feeding raises your Corruption, which changes which perks you can learn. Know the meter before you indulge everywhere else.
